On September 3rd , the reporter learned from the Second Plenary (enlarged) Meeting of the Fifth Session of the Municipal Federation of Overseas Chinese that the first overseas Chinese homes have been established and 10 units have beened named as overseas Chinese international cultural exchange bases in order to further promote the construction of grass-roots organizations, improve the work of overseas Chinese affairs and better carry out cultural exchange activities at home and abroad with local and overseas Chinese characteristics.

On September 7th,The Second Session of Henan Overseas Chinese Mission " The Belt and Road" Innovative Cooperation Development Conference was held in Sanmenxia International Wenbo City. On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal People’s Congress, the Municipal Government, the CPPCC and the city’s 2.3 million people, Liu Nanchang, the Secretary of Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee, expressed his sincere congratulations on this conference, and extended warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all overseas Chinese leaders and friends from all circles who participated in the conference.

On the evening of September 6th , the opening ceremony of the 26th Sanmenxia Yellow River Cultural Tourism Festival was held at the Grand Theater of Sanmenxia International Cultural Expo City. On September 3rd, the second (enlarged) meeting of the Fifth session of the Municipal Federation of overseas Chinese was held. Members of the Fifth Committee of the Municipal Federation of overseas Chinese, staff of the Municipal (County and District) Federation of overseas Chinese, representatives of Sanmenxia Returned Overseas Students Friendship Association, Sanmenxia overseas Chinese staff and Family Friendship members attended the meeting.

On Sep. 6th Sanmenxia city successfully held the 15th World Convention of Henan Entrepreneurs, at which highlights were presented and fruits were achieved. Thanks to the recommendations and connections of the early stage, 52 projects were successfully signed with the total investment amount of 60.4 billion yuan.
