The Driving Force of "Main Engine" of Consumption in Sanmenxia is Powerful
Recently, the reporter from relevant departments of Sanmenxia learned that in 2024, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Sanmenxia increased by 6.2% year-on-year. Among them, the retail sales of enterprises above designated size ranked the sixth in the province, indicating a good consumption trend and strong development momentum.
The "trade-in " initiative has achieved remarkable results. Sanmenxia Municipal Commerce System has actively negotiated with financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies to jointly lower the loan interest rates, down payment ratios, and insurance premiums for car sales. Enterprises have held over 100 car test drives and test rides. The municipal and county-level governments have widely carried out promotional activities for consumption-stimulating policies in communities, towns, and gatherings, promoting the dissemination of preferential information throughout the city. In 2024, a total of 81,500 loan applications for cars, home appliances, home decoration, and kitchen and bathroom products were received in Sanmenxia, with subsidies of 175 million yuan issued, and the consumption was driven by over 1 billion yuan. In addition, Sanmenxia has also formulated a five-year development plan for the recycling of renewable resources and an implementation opinion on regulating the business operations for recycling resource enterprises’ outlets, which promoted the construction of the recycling resource system and achieves a 100% coverage rate of recycling outlets in the built-up areas of Sanmenxia.
Expand the forms of promotional activities. On the basis of the policy of “trading- in” , Sanmenxia Municipal Finance Bureau has invested 4 million yuan to carry out car promotion activities, subsidizing over 700 vehicles and stimulating consumption of approximately 110 million yuan. The Municipal Commerce Bureau jointly organized the Second E-commerce Live-streaming Competition and the Double Twelve E-commerce Festival with Sanmenxia Economic Development Zone, promoting transactions of 120 million yuan. In addition, Hubin District has carried out various forms of promotional activities centered around automobiles, catering, accommodation, etc.; Shanzhou District has held the commodity fair for the Swan Season; Mei Daojia Industrial Co., Ltd. introduced the first stores of brands such as Starbucks, Luckin Coffee, and Master Bao, and Wanda Plaza introduced industry leaders such as Huawei authorized experience stores, vigorously enhancing the consumption quality of residents in Sanmenxia.
Accelerate the cultivation of new types of consumption. To vigorously boost consumption momentum, Sanmenxia organized enterprises to participate in E-commerce promotion activities such as "Online New Year Shopping Festival", "Double Brand Online Shopping Festival", and "Digital Commerce to Promote Agriculture and Celebrate Harvest", which were driven consumption of 560 million yuan. In collaboration with the catering association, we have held a press conference for trustworthy ingredients and seasonings in the Yellow River Golden Triangle region of Henan, Shanxi and Shaanxi. Before the Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake, Sanmenxia also selected the top ten famous feasts and ten local characteristic feasts in Sanmenxia. We specially guided the establishment of E-commerce Unions, Women's Federations and Domestic Service Women's Federations to promote the common development of e-commerce economy and domestic service economy. Statistics show that in 2024, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Lingbao City, Shanzhou District, Yima City and Lushi County were all higher than the average level of the whole city.
