Industrial Transformation and Upgrade in Sanmenxia Continues to Accelerate
Industrial transformation and upgrade is the only way for high-quality development. Since the beginning of this year, following the theme of promoting high-quality development, the goal of cultivating new quality productive forces and the path of “cluster leadership, overall enhancement, advantage reconstruction, main body support, and element empowerment” and focusing on “8+6” industrial clusters and 12 key industrial chains, our city has strengthened innovation-driven development, continuously optimized the industrial structure, and steadily improved the quality and efficiency of development. Industrial transformation and upgrade in Sanmenxia continues to accelerate.
The industrial sector continues to upgrade. Our city plans to establish an industry fund for dispersed metal, has implemented 242 “three major transformation” projects and 104 5G projects, has cultivated 20 new small and medium-sized special and sophisticated enterprises, three provincial single champion manufacturing enterprises, two provincial leading enterprises, and has created two new provincial smart factories and five new smart workshops. The copper deep processing industrial cluster in Lingbao City and the aluminum and aluminum deep processing industrial cluster in the Shanzhou District have been approved as provincial-level special industrial clusters for small and medium-sized enterprises. Several major industrial projects, including the resource recycling and green production technology upgrade of Xiling Refining and calcium sulfate whiskers of Kaixiang Chemical, have been completed and put into production. In the first half of the year, the city’s value-added industrial output grew by 8.8% from a year earlier, and the value-added output of strategic emerging industries grew by 9.4% from a year earlier.
The scale of the service sector continues to expand. Our city successfully held the first e-commerce short video and livestream competition, and initiated the creation of the Yangshao Liquor industrial tourism zone and Wengcheng Waterfall 4A scenic spot. The Hubin District was selected as a provincial-level cultural tourism and creativity integrated innovation demonstration zone. The Liushuwan Minglang River cultural tourism and wellness base in Lushi County was named a provincial-level wellness tourism demonstration base. The Miaodigou Cultural and Creative Industry Park has been basically completed. The delivery logistics unit of the first phase of the Sanmenxia Railway Comprehensive Hub Logistics Park has been completed and put into trial operation, and JD Logistics (Lushi) Port opened for operation. In the first half of the year, the value-added output of the service industry in Sanmenxia grew by 5.9% from a year earlier, 2.7 percentage points higher than the provincial average.
Innovation capabilities continue to improve. Our city makes every effort to build a science and technology service complex 2.0 and has registered six provincial-level scientific and technological research projects. The national key laboratory and integrated headquarter for tunnel engineering and the research and practice base for the national key laboratory of efficient production of forest resources were built. The industrial technology research institute for ultra-pure mineral new materials was approved and unveiled. The pilot base for flower and fruit wine beverages and peony deep processing in Henan Province was built. The integrated pilot project for ammonia-free and nitrogen-free clean molybdenum metallurgy and high-purity material production has completed testing and successfully produced high-purity molybdenum products. The project with an annual output of 10,000 tons of electronic-grade high-purity quartz sand started trial operation. In the first half of the year, our city collected over 1,190 innovation element demands at various levels and cultivated 80 reserve high-tech enterprises. The city’s fiscal expenditure on science and technology grew by 184% from a year earlier, and the value-added output of high-tech industries grew by 12.6% from a year earlier.
