Develop New Quality Productive Forces Through High-quality Projects
On May 17th, Wang Qinghua, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and director-general of the Publicity Department, went to the construction site of the Wangguan Yellow River Bridge project on the 209 National Highway to conduct on-site research on major projects.
Wang Qinghua first went to the project management department, and had in-depth exchanges with the project leader to learn more about the project planning and design, financing model, technological innovation, progress and next steps. Later, Wang Qinghua went to the project construction site to inspect the construction progress of major projects including the Wangguan Yellow River Bridge and the Qinglongjian Grand Bridge. He inquired about the difficulties and problems encountered during the construction and provided guiding suggestions.
Wang Qinghua pointed out that the Wangguan Yellow River Bridge project on the 209 National Highway is a major construction project for the province and also an important livelihood project for Sanmenxia. All departments involved must place great importance on this project, further deepen the cooperation and exchanges between Henan and Shanxi, promote the interconnectivity of transportation infrastructure, and carry out in-depth investment and financing cooperation. They should stick to their goals, work hard, and pool efforts to ensure the efficient and orderly progress of the project with a strong sense of responsibility and mission.
Wang Qinghua emphasized that it’s necessary to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces in the transportation industry, combine innovative and smart development with green and low-carbon development, promote the in-depth application of cutting-edge technologies in the transportation industry, advance the intelligent upgrading of the transportation industry, and continuously improve the planning, construction and operation level of transportation infrastructure, so as to make positive contributions to the high-quality development and the construction of a modern Sanmenxia. It’s necessary to firmly establish “red line” awareness for production safety, continuously enhance safety education and training, safety and quality technical disclosures, daily supervision and inspections, and the identification and management of potential hazards. We must resolutely guard the bottom line of safety and quality, and strive to build safe, high-quality, and exemplary projects.
