On December 26, the launch ceremony of the pilot supervision and  clearance mode of imported copper concentrate by railway was held, and the Mayor Xu Xiangfeng attended the launch ceremony and unveiled the brand.

In recent years, Sanmenxia conscientiously carries out the Xi Jinping’ Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and focused on the "ten strategies" of Henan provincial Party Committee to deeply implement the strategy of opening up and strengthening the city and vigorously promote the construction of open platform. On November 28, the General Administration of Customs officially approved that Sanmenxia was the second pilot for supervision and clearance mode of imported copper concentrate by railway in China and the first one in Henan Province. The approval of the pilot has provided a broader stage for Sanmenxia to fully integrate into the national "Belt and Road" initiative and actively participate in the new domestic and international dual-cycle development pattern.

It is reported that the first batch of copper concentrate imported from Mongolia arrived, which marks the official implementation of the pilot work in Sanmenxia. The pilot is a re-engineering of regulatory model process of “first inspection and then release”of the current imported copper concentrate, and it will greatly change the situation that the overall customs clearance process of port inspection is longer in the past and the intermediate storage and freight damage costs are higher, which effectively save the comprehensive costs of enterprises, help ensure the stability of imported raw material channels, improve the resilience and safety of the city's copper industrial chain and supply chain.

Opening-up is the only way to achieve high-quality development. Sanmenxia will take this pilot as an opportunity to thoroughly implement the national strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, closely follow the "13561" typical work layout of modern Sanmenxia construction, continue to promote the construction of the Sanmenxia Bonded Logistics Center (Type B), the Free trade Pilot Zone of Sanmenxia open innovation linkage Zone, so as to cultivate new open platform carriers, support more local enterprises to "go out" and "bring in" more excellent enterprises.

Wang Songzhao, member of the Standing Committee of Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, presided over the launch ceremony, Vice Mayor Qin Yingjun delivered a speech at the launch ceremony, and Lu Dawei, Secretary-General of the Municipal Government attended. The person in charge of Sanmenxia Customs read out the relevant pilot approval documents of the General Administration of Customs.

   After the launch ceremony, the mayor Xu Xiangfeng and his delegation also inspected the Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) project in Sanmenxia .
