From June 30th to July 1st , the "2023 Fan Yangtze River Operation", organized by Dagong Wenhui Media Group of Hong Kong and the propaganda Department of Henan Provincial CPC Committee, entered Sanmenxia to inspect. More than 30 students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Shuren University, Hong Kong Baptist University, City University of Hong Kong, Zhengzhou University, Henan University and other universities visited Sanmenxia to feel the beautiful ecology, explore the profound culture and witness the charm of Sanmenxia. 

Expand cognitive insight into the wisdom of ancestors

On the morning of June 30th , the weather was hotand the itinerary was compact, but the students were enthusiastic.

On the same day, the delegation visited Yangshao Village National Archaeological site Park, where they learned the story of the birth of modern Chinese archaeology; They came to Yangshao Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., to personally experience the making technology of Yangshao painted pottery and feel the magnificent painted pottery culture; at the Miaodigou Museum, the students marveled at the use of many digital exhibition technologies to explore the flowers of Chinese civilization. They roamed around the Guo State Museum, confronted with the mysterious mausoleum of the monarch and the majestic car and horse pit, all of people can not help but exclaim.

"Sanmenxia is a place with profound history and splendid culture." For Lin Haoxing, a student at City University of Hong Kong, he was deeply impressed by his experience of painted pottery billet drawing. "from Hong Kong to Sanmenxia, it’s the first time for me to experience the charm of pottery, which  expanded my understanding of Chinese culture and got insight into the wisdom of ancient ancestors."

 Clear Yellow River- experience ecological diversity 

On the afternoon of June 30th , the delegation visited the Sanmenxia Water Conservancy Project-the first dam on the Yellow River, and the mighty dam and the beautiful natural environment made people feel relaxed and happy. 

Sanmenxia Water Conservancy Project is the first large-scale comprehensive water conservancy project built on the Yellow River after the founding of New China, which has played a huge comprehensive benefit in flood control, flood prevention, irrigation, water supply, power generation, water and sand transfer and other fields after its completion and operation. The harmonious natural scene of the dam scenic area with green mountains and birds flying attracted many students to take photos as a memory. 

One Hong Kong student Dai Qingying told reporters that the trip to Sanmenxia changed her stereotype of the Yellow River, she said: "In the past, I thought the Yellow River was yellow and turbid. When I saw the Yellow River in Sanmenxia this time, the water was clear and the ecology was diverse." 

Looking at the beautiful scenery in front of us, everyone praised Sanmenxia for its efforts in ecological governance. 

Punch in the beautiful scenes - meet the beauty

July 1st is not only the Party's birthday, but also the 26th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to China. Along the Yellow River ecological corridor, the group visited the Zhongyuan Gold Smelter, Baogu Aluminum Technology Co., LTD., Shaanxi Underground Courtyard scenic spot, and visited the 14th China Photography Art Festival and the fifth Swan City - China Sanmenxia Natural Ecology International Photography Exhibition in Sanmenxia Wenbo City. 

One Hong Kong student Wu Shiyi told reporters that the trip to Sanmenxia exceeded her imagination, "everywhere is unexpected scenery, today I not only learned for the first time how gold is smelt, but also feel the modern atmosphere of Sanmenxia, I hope to get more in Sanmenxia for the next time.”

  After the students attended the graduation ceremony, their interest did not decrease, and they drove to Lingbao. At the Dongzhai Yellow River Viewing Platform, the group climbed to overlook the Yellow River and enjoy the beauty of the sunset. A staff member who participated in the activity told reporters that he was also a photography enthusiast, and he was very excited to see the beautiful scenery of the Yellow River this time and took a lot of pictures. "After returning, I will introduce Sanmenxia to my friends and recommend them to come here." 

In the evening, the students participated in the launching ceremony of the "Ask Taoism in Hangu Pass" night tour series in Lingbao Hangu Pass Scenic Area, and bid farewell to Sanmenxia in a wonderful performance and a beautiful light show.
