On January 12th, the reporter learned from Sanmenxia Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs that the China Green Food Development Center released the list of the second batch of national green food raw material standardized production bases in 2022, and the 13,400 mu Lushi mushroom base and 82,000 mu Shanzhou apple base in Sanmenxia were among them, plus the 30,000 mu Mianchi pepper base and 192,000 mu Lingbao apple base that our city has successfully created in 2021. At present, Sanmenxia has four national green food raw materials standardized production bases, which ranked in the forefront of prefecture-level cities in Henan.

The national green food raw material standardization production base refers to a planting area or a breeding site that is officially approved by the China Green Food Development Center after review. It implements production and management in accordance with the requirements of green food technical standards and whole-process quality control system and it establishes, improves and effectively operates the base management system and has a certain scale, which meets the environmental quality standards of the green food origin. 

In the process of creating national green food raw materials standardization production base, Sanmenxia closely focused on the fruit, vegetables, bacteria and other characteristics of the industry, and organized characteristic 30,000 mu Mianchi peppers, 192,000 mu Lingbao apples, 13,400 mu Lushi Shiitake, 82,000 mu Shanzhou apples to actively apply for the national standard production base of green food raw materials. The four bases are actively engaged in the creation of organizational management systems, infrastructure and environmental protection systems, production management systems, input management systems, technical service systems, supervision and management systems, industrial management systems, etc.,which have been approved by the expert groups of China Green Food Development Center after acceptance, and they all have been formally certified.

The successful establishment of four national standardized production bases for green food raw materials has effectively promoted the standardized production of the characteristic agriculture and the brand building of agricultural products in Sanmenxia, further enhanced the added value and market share of agricultural products, effectively extended the city's characteristic agricultural industry chain, which contributed a lot to the farmers’ income and agricultural efficiency. It is of great significance and value to promote the construction of modern agriculture and the innovation of agricultural production methods.
