On January 12th , the Engineering Technology Research Center of Coal Mine Rock Burst Prevention and Control in Henan Province and the Mine pressure Research Institute of Yima Coal Group was unveiled. Wan Zhanwei, Standing Committee Member of Sanmenxia Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, attended the relevant activities.

Wan Zhanwei said that the Henan Coal Mine Rock Burst Prevention Engineering Technology Research Center and the Mine Pressure Research Institute of Yima Coal Group is another "provincial brand" research center in Sanmenxia, and its completion will effectively promote the solution of the difficult problem of coal mine rock burst prevention and measurement, leading the scientific and technological progress in this field in the province. It is hoped that the research institute and the personnel in coal mine engineering and technology can work closely together, and actively carry out innovation research in management technology with the support of modern monitoring information technology, and constantly improve the level of rock burst prevention and control. All relevant departments at all levels should increase their support for the research center in terms of policies, talents and funds, strengthen the effective connection of "production, university and research", absorb and make good use of the results of the research center, and constantly consolidate the foundation of coal mine safety production in Sanmenxia.

Based on the research on the occurrence mechanism and prevention technology of rock burst in Yima coal field in Province, Henan Coal Mine Rock Burst Prevention Engineering Technology Research Center and Yima Coal Mine Pressure Research Institute will rely on the advantages of Yima Coal Mine Group professionals to carry out scientific research on the key basic theories, monitoring and early warning, pressure relief measures, support technology and safety management involved in rock burst disaster management, and  undertake the compilation and scientific research projects of mine impact risk assessment and anti-impact design inside and outside the province, deeply solve the problem of mine burst disaster prevention and prediction, lead the scientific and technological progress in the field of rock burst prevention and control in the province, so as to improve the overall competitiveness of the industry and the safety technology.
