On May 21st , the Yellow River Golden Triangle Hub (Sanmenxia) Economy Development Forum was held, which provide a solid "brain tank" for the hub economic development in Sanmenxia.The purpose of this forum is to build an exchange platform and discuss economic development.

Xu Xiangfeng, Deputy Secretary of Sanmenxia Municipal Committee and the Mayor, Wan Zhanwei, Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, Wang Songzhao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, Xu Shenggao, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Qin Yingjun, Deputy Mayor, Wu Pengfei, the Vice Chairman of the CPPCC municipal committee, attended the event.

At the forum, Li Heng, Director of the Service Industry Development Office of Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, with the title of "Giving Play to the Driving Role of Logistics to Promote the Development of Hub Economy", put forward suggestions on the development of hub economy of Sanmenxia, such as "highlighting comparative advantages, grasping the top-level design, improving the construction of channels, enhancing industrial support, and strengthening the agglomeration drive". Lv Zhongyang, General Manager of Haoji Railway Co., LTD., explained the strategic positioning and development suggestions of Haoji Railway Economic Belt with the title of "Promoting High-quality Development of Regional Economy through High-quality Construction of Haoji Railway Economic Belt"; Zhou Guannan, General Manager of China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd. put forward prospects and suggestions for enterprises and local authorities to jointly build Central China Hub Economic Pilot Zone with the title of "Cultivating New Advantages of Integrated Development to Build Hub Economic Pilot Zone". 

Huang Shuanglin, Vice President of China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. focused on "Accelerating the Construction of Railway Hub to Promote Rapid Economic Development" to provide ideas for the economic development of South Station of Sanmenxia high-speed railway from the aspects of industrial services and urban services; Cao Yajun, Deputy Dean of the School of International Economics and Trade of Henan University of Economics and Law and executive director of the Institute of High-quality Development of Henan Foreign Trade, made a keynote speech on the impact of RCEP preferential policies on the development of major industries in Henan Province and Countermeasures.

As the West Gate and an important node city of "One Belt, One Road"in Henan Province, and an crucial city in high-quality development cooperation belt of Zhengzhou to the west of Luoyang , Sanmenxia enjoys unique advantages in developing hub economy. At present, it has initially formed a "six vertical and six horizontal" large traffic pattern, especially the Haoji railway and the Sanyo Railway are intersecting in Sanmenxia, which will form the only heavy-duty freight railway hub in the country. Sanmenxia will further focus on the integrated development of "hub - industry - city", give full play to the comprehensive advantages of public and railway transportation, vigorously promote the construction of open platforms, and strive to create a new situation in the construction of modern Sanmenxia.

The forum also invited well-known enterprises in the domestic logistics industry and Top 500 companies at home and abroad, central government-owned enterprises, industry leading enterprises, listed companies and some business representatives to attend to exchange ideas and offer advice.
