Since the beginning of this year, Sanmenxia has continued to deepen the work of sending sci-tech professionals to rural areas and made good use of science and technology policies and professional and technical talent resources, providing technological support for the effective connection between consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.

Sanmenxia has organized the selection of sci-tech professionals for the year 2023. A total of eight groups of 110 industrial sci-tech professionals have been selected, along with 82 individual sci-tech professionals. Additionally, nine demonstration bases for sci-tech professionals to help rural revitalization have been established. At present, Sanmenxia has established four national-level star innovation and entrepreneurship space, 48 provincial and municipal-level star innovation and entrepreneurship space, 13 provincial and municipal-level agricultural science and technology parks, 35 municipal-level agricultural industry engineering and technology centers, 76 science and technology demonstration bases, and 24 demonstration bases for sci-tech professionals to help rural revitalization. The construction of various platforms in the agricultural field is among the top in the province. Using various platform carriers, Sanmenxia has actively carried out more than 120 professional trainings on vocational skills, science and technology policies, and business incubation, and trained more than 5,100 people, which has effectively promoted the application and promotion of new varieties and technologies. At the same time, Sanmenxia has strengthened the planning of agricultural science and technology planning projects, successfully applied for three county (city) innovation guidance plan programs in Henan Province in 2023, and cultivated seven municipal-level major scientific and technological projects in the agricultural field in 2023.

On the basis of solidly doing a good job in the work of dispatching sci-tech professionals in the agricultural and rural areas, Sanmenxia relies on Sanmenxia Nonferrous Metals Research Institute to build nonferrous metal service groups, relies on the Sanmenxia Social Administration Vocational College to build e-commerce service groups, and relies on the Yellow River Sanmenxia Hospital to build medical service groups, constantly expanding the service area of the sci-tech professionals.
