Recently, the Industry and Information Technology Department of Henan Province announced the list of national and provincial green manufacturing for the year 2022. Four companies and one model product from Sanmenxia are included on the list.

Sanmenxia Tengyue Tongli Cement Co., Ltd. and Henan Kaixiang Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. are on the list of 2022 national-level green factories. Lingbao Huaxin Copper Foil Co., Ltd. and Lingbao Jinyuan Zhaohui Copper Co., Ltd. are on the list of provincial-level green factories. A disinfection robot produced by Henan BooCax Robot Co., Ltd. is included on the list of provincial green design products.

In recent years, Sanmenxia has been actively building a green manufacturing system and fostering exemplary green development enterprises. In key manufacturing areas such as the chemical industry, metallurgy, building materials, and high-end equipment manufacturing, a group of representative enterprises with good foundations have been selected. These enterprises are supported to improve their level of green development in six areas, including infrastructure, management systems, energy and resource inputs, products, environmental emissions, and performance, to cultivate a group of green factories with intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy. Enterprises are encouraged to promote green design and develop green products that have characteristics such as harmlessness, energy saving, environmental protection, high reliability, long life, and easy recycling, to advance the construction of a green manufacturing system.

Currently, Sanmenxia has successfully established five national green factories, seven provincial green factories, and 11 municipal green factories. The city’s high-tech industrial development zone has also been selected as a national-level green industrial park. A number of green production benchmark enterprises such as Kaiman Aluminum, Yangshao Liquor, Diacastal Wheel, and Kaixiang Chemical have been established.
