The Number of White Swans for Winter in Sanmenxia This Year Exceeded 10,000
According to Henan Daily, more than 10,000 white swans were flying to Sanmenxia for winter. The journalist learned from the Management Office of Sanmenxia National Nature Reserve of the Yellow River Wetland in Henan Province that until December 10th , there are more than 10,000 white swans in Sanmenxia, which are mainly distributed in the Swan Bay of urban-rural integration demonstration zone in Dawang Town, Sanmenxia Swan Lake National Urban Wetland Park, Wangguan Yellow River Wetland in Hubin district, Sanmenxia Yellow River Park and other areas. These "Fairies in White " become a beautiful scenery of the Yellow River Wetland in winter.
At present, the Swan Bay in Dawang Town has the largest number of white swans, which is estimated to be more than 5,000, attracting a large number of tourists and photography shutterbugs to watch and take photos.
There were more than 3,000 white swans in Swan Lake National Urban Wetland Park on December 10th, which were mainly distributed in Qinglong Lake, Canglong Lake, along the Hudi road and the Ink Stone. The person in charge of the park said that they have arranged special personnel to make regular observation, statistics and collation of white swan data every day, timely release the number distribution of white swans, and at the same time they set up a white swan protection team of 40 people, which were divided into four teams and took 24 hours of care.
Wangguan Yellow River Wetland is the first stop for white swans in Sanmenxia for winter. Every year from mid-October, the vanguard of white swans from Siberia and Inner Mongolia visit Wangguan Yellow River Wetland for a short time and then fly to Sanmenxia Swan Lake, Yellow River Park, and Swan Bay in Dawang Town and so on. At present, there are nearly 1,000 white swans in Wangguan Yellow River Wetland.
The related staff said they would monitor the swan's health and report it in the first time. At the same time, they intensified inspection so as to provide a good habitat for white swans.
