In recent years, Sanmenxia adheres to deepening the 5G enablement, taking innovation-driven as the lead to accelerate the promotion of industrial digitization, digital industrialization, so that let intellectualization and digitalization enable Sanmenxia to develop its economy and society in high quality.    

Work hard to build 5G networks and continue to upgrade digital infrastructure. By the end of October, Sanmenxia had invested 166 million yuan in 5G network construction, which completed 99.1% of the annual plan. 3,216 5G base stations in total in Sanmenxia had been built and opened, and realized the full coverage of 5G network in the city's townships and above and rural hot spots, as well as the indoor coverage of key scenes such as large commercial supermarkets, transportation hubs, first-class hospitals and universities. Twelve enterprises, including Kaixiang Chemical, Zhongyuan Gold Smelter and Daika Wheel Hub, have opened 5G private networks. With the support of network slicing technology and edge computing technology, they can realize on-demand allocation of 5G network resources and real-time transmission of production data, which provided solid network support for the intellectualization of equipment, digitalization of operation and intelligent management.

Carry out special actions to continuously expand the scale of the 5G industry. Sanmenxia takes the 5G industry as the core digital industry and has carried out special actions to expand its capacity and improve quality. Seven enterprises, including Chengdong 5G Industrial Park of Lingbao City, Huaxin Copper foil high-frequency high-speed copper foil for 5G, Easy Special 5G+ Science and Technology Innovation Park project, and Baoxin Electronics, have been included into key parks, key projects and key enterprises in the field of 5G in the emerging industrial chain of Henan Province. Huaxin copper foil with an annual output of 8000 tons of 5G high-speed and high-frequency electrolytic copper foil project was completed and put into production, which realized the mass production of 5G special copper foil and filled the domestic gap. The Jinqu Yintong project with an annual output of 600,000 tons of 5G silver powder has been put into operation, which realized the substitution of 5G silver powder for domestic production. The electronic information raw materials have become the highlight of 5G industry in Sanmenxia even in Henan province.

Deepen 5G capabilities and continue to promote industrial digital transformation and build a "5G+ industrial Internet" development pattern. Since the launch of Wanlian (Sanmenxia) Industrial Internet platform, a total of 1,550 enterprises have been registered, 1,784 industrial products have been released, and 320 kinds of products have been connected to supply and demand, which guided the in-depth integration of 5G technology and enterprise digital transformation in an orderly way. The "5G+ smart industry" has showed initial results. During the year, 78 5G projects were implemented with a total investment of 2.808 billion yuan, and 32 5G projects were included in the list of Henan Province, which ranked 6th in the province. The 5G smart mine project of Gengcun Coal Mine won the first prize of the smart mining track of the 5th "Bloom Cup" 5G Application Competition.

Steady progress made in "5G+ smart agriculture". The 5G future orchard in Lingbao has been basically completed, which realized real-time collection, transmission and monitoring of meteorological environment information, soil environment information and growth index information of the base. The "5G+ service industry" is booming. The province's first 5G live broadcast platform for financial services- "Sanmenxia Finance", was launched smoothly, and 509 enterprises were connected online, which raised 211 million yuan.

Optimize the digital ecosystem and strengthen support for the 5G industry. Sanmenxia insists on organizing regular digital transformation observation and investigation, which has cooperated with more than 10 5G and digital service providers such as Huawei, Tencent, Haier Digital Technology, China Power Internet and Tiger Cloud. Sanmenxia government also organized local and the third-party service providers to carry out activities such as "5G+ Industrial Internet", in-depth digital transformation and enterprise diagnosis, which provides strong support for promoting the application of "5G+ Industrial Internet" technology and enabling industrial digital transformation.
