Recently, the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute commended the outstanding scientific research achievements of the national party history and literature departments from 2016 to 2020. Two achievements in Sanmenxia won the honor. Among them, "Red Culture" of the "Sanmenxia Culture" series jointly compiled by the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department and the Municipal Party History Office won the third prize in the book category, and the feature film "Sanmenxia Party Spirit Education Museum Online Exhibition Hall" jointly produced by the Municipal Party History Office and Sanmenxia Radio and Television Station  won the third prize in the new media category.

The National Party History and Literature Department Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award is established by the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute and is selected every 5 years. After the second volume of "The History of Sanmenxia of the Communist Party of China" (1949-1978) won the second prize in the category of outstanding scientific research achievements in the national Party history department from 2011 to 2015, Sanmenxia Party history scientific research achievements won the national award this time again.

In recent years, the Party History and Local Affairs Office of Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee has focused on the main responsibilities and main business, continued to deepen the research on Party history, devoted itself to the compilation of Party history works, and created a number of excellent local Party history works. The Party History and Local Affairs Office of Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee gave full play to its advantages and took the initiative to carry out in-depth Party history publicity and education by new media. The influence of Party history publicity has been further expanded and the Party history research, service theme education, compilation of major events and other work ranks advanced in the province.
