From July 30th to 31st , the Third Session of Oxygen Bar Industry Development Conference and the "China Natural Oxygen Bar" Media Promotion Conference were held in Dongtai, Jiangsu Province. The conference announced the first batch of "Typical Demonstration Cases of Natural Oxygen Bar Cities", and Sanmenxia was listed as one of the first three cities in China. The "Sanmenxia experience" in ecological civilization construction has once again attracted wide attention.

 The conference interpreted the case background, framework and evaluation conclusion of typical demonstration of natural oxygen bar cities. Sanmenxia representatives shared with the participants the experience and practice of promoting green transformation and development, revitalizing the ecological treasure house and reshaping the urban development pattern with the opportunity of creating a“China's natural oxygen bar”. Being selected into the case base of "typical demonstration of natural oxygen bar cities" indicates that Sanmenxia has formed distinctive characteristics in driving green ecological development with natural oxygen bar brands, which has typical demonstration significance in China.

 In 2016, China Meteorological Service Association launched the national "China Natural oxygen bar" creating work in order to implement the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on“Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”. At present, 249 regions across the country have successfully established the “China Natural Oxygen Bar”. Up to now, five prefecture level cities in Zhejiang, Yunnan, Henan, Heilongjiang and Hunan have successfully established the “China Natural Oxygen Bar”.

Sanmenxia actively improves the quality of water and air , forestry and other ecological environments by taking the opportunity of creating the“China Natural Oxygen Bar City” so as to accelerate the improvement of cultural and tourism facilities. The ecological restoration project of the Xiaoqinling Nature Reserve and the construction of the Baili Yellow River ecological corridor have become provincial and national models. The construction of "China natural oxygen bar city" has played a positive role in Sanmenxia's ecological civilization building. By the end of 2021, all the six counties under the jurisdiction of Sanmenxia have won the title of "China Natural Oxygen Bar", which realized the "Grand Slam". Sanmenxia is the first and only one city to achieve the title of "China natural oxygen bar" in the Yellow River basin and in Henan Province  

As a typical demonstration area of "natural oxygen bar city", Sanmenxia explores the "1+N" mode of green transformation and development of local industries, and actively promotes the building and promotion of green brands related to "China's natural oxygen bar". So as to plan the development of health care resources, carry out the identification of climate quality of oxygen bar agricultural products, and promote climate feasibility demonstration. In December 2020, Sanmenxia participated in the 17th China ASEAN Expo; In April 2021, Sanmenxia Municipal People's Government, China Meteorological Service Association and China Travel Service Association Railway Tourism Branch jointly launched the “China Natural Oxygen Bar Special Train”; In September 2021, Sanmenxia made its debut in the Service Trade fair. These activities have greatly enhanced the social popularity and brand influence of Sanmenxia.
