From May 24th to 27th m, Wang Zaiwen, Chairman of  CPPCC of Sanmenxia Municipal Committee, led the research team to carry out a special research on "Enhancing the Cultural Influence of Yangshao and Creating a Renowned Archaeological Shrine" in Mianchi, Lingbao and the urban area of Sanmenxia. Dong Shuliang, Vice Chairman of CPPCC of Sanmenxia Municipal Committee, participated in the research.

The people of relevant departments directly under Sanmenxia Municipal government carried out a special research to know the existed problems and difficulties about excavation and research of Yangshao culture in Sanmenxia, and listened extensively to the opinions and suggestions of all parties, and actively made their sound suggestions in order to implement the spirit of congratulatory letter of General Secretary Xi Jinping to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Chinese archaeology and the discovery of the Yangshao Culture and fulfill the instructions of Lou Yangsheng, Secretary of Henan Provincial Party Committee, so as to further promote the archaeological work of cultural relics, enhance the influence of Yangshao culture, and strengthen the core status of Sanmenxia Yangshao cultural archaeological holy land.

 The research team conducted field research in Sanmenxia, they successively went to Yangshao Culture Museum, Yangshao Village National Archaeological Site Park, Yangshao Distillery, Yangshao Xianmen Mountain Cultural Park, Henan Yangshao Science and Technology Co., Ltd., a painted pottery production base of Henan Yangshao Culture Media Art Co., Ltd. in Mianchi County, Beiyangping Site, The Yellow Emperor Cast Ding Yuan Site, Xipo relics and Chengyan Site in Lingbao, Miaodigou Archaeological Site Park, Miaodigou Yangshao Culture Museum, Municipal museum, Guo State Museum and other places. The research team held three symposiums, listened to work reports, and solicited opinions and suggestions.

During the survey, Wang Zaiwen emphasized that CPPCC members have the duty to enhance the cultural influence of Yangshao and build a famous archaeological shrine to better facilitate the cultural development of Sanmenxia. We need to take thematic research as the process of in-depth study and research to have a clearer and deeper understanding of the historical context and development process of Yangshao culture, so as to further enhance historical consciousness and cultural confidence. It is necessary to unite the joint efforts of all parties to take active actions and scientific, accurate and operational measures to strengthen the research, interpretation, display and dissemination of Yangshao culture, so as to create characteristic cultural products and a strong social atmosphere for inheriting Chinese civilization to stimulate the endogenous power of the people to contribute to cultural development in Sanmenxia. The purpose is to enhance the influence of Yangshao culture and build renowned archaeological sites.
