Sanmenxia’s Economic Output Continued to Grow in the First Half of this Year
On August 8th, the reporter learned from the Municipal Bureau of Statistics that the GDP of Sanmenxia in the first half of this year was 83.87 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%, 0.3 percentage points higher than that of the province, and 0.2 percentage points higher than that in the same period last year. According to the data, the added value of the secondary industry was 45.01 billion yuan, and the total retail sales of consumer goods was 27.08 billion yuan. The city’s economic output continued to grow.
Production has been stable and demand has been picking up. In the first half of the year, the city’s major industries increased by 8.1% year-on-year, ranking first in the province for eight consecutive months. Driven by strong consumption policies such as the issuing of government vouchers in June, the total retail sales of consumer goods increased by 4.5% in June, ranking first in the province; the cumulative increase was 2.1%, ranking seventh in the province, three places ahead of the rank in the first quarter. The total export value was 2.02 billion yuan, an increase of 98.1%, ranking first in the province.
The state-owned economy led the way, and the “big” economy took the lead. In terms of major industries, in the first half of this year, the added value of state-owned industries increased by 25.4% year-on-year, which was 17.3 percentage points higher than that of major industries; the added value of large and medium-sized enterprises increased by 9.6%, 1.5 percentage points higher than that of major industries, driving the city’s major industrial growth by 7.1 percentage points, and contributing 87.6% to the growth of the major industries. In terms of investment, the investment in projects over 100 million yuan increased by 13.2%, which was 2.4 percentage points higher than that of the whole province and 3.7 percentage points higher than the investment growth rate of the whole city. In terms of consumption, the retail sales of consumer goods of major units reached 6.42 billion yuan, an increase of 14.4%, which was 12.3 percentage points higher than the growth rate of the city’s retail sales of consumer goods.
The value of the growth has improved and three major incomes developed steadily. In the first half of this year, Sanmenxia’s revenue in the general public budgets was 7.92 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%; the per capita disposable income of residents was 13,370 yuan, an increase of 4.4%, both outperforming the GDP growth rate. The business revenue of major industrial enterprises increased by 14.9%, which was 4.4 percentage points higher than that of the province, ranking fourth in the province; the total profits increased by 6.1%, which was 1.2 percentage points higher than that of the province, ranking seventh in the province. The enterprises were in good condition. Emerging industries were booming, and the R&D expenses of major industrial enterprises increased by 87.4%, which was 48.3 percentage points higher than that of the province; strategic emerging industries accounted for 13.2% of major industries, an increase of 0.4 percentage points compared with that at the end of 2021. The new material industry and high-end equipment manufacturing industry increased by 27.6% and 33.2% respectively; the investment in the high-tech manufacturing industry increased by 78.0%, which was 54.2 percentage points higher than the national level and 37.7 percentage points higher than the provincial level; the proportion of investment in high-tech industries reached 6.8%, an increase of 1.4 percentage points over the same period of the previous year.
