I was very excited and honored. What was exciting is that on the same day, I also received a Certificate of Honor for the Special Contribution Award issued by Beijing “Double Olympics” International Art Museum, which is a great affirmation of our Sanmenxia paper-cutting art. So our paper-cut creation team decided to organize this event to share with the general public on this unique and hard-won result." Li Zhumei said excitedly.

At the scene, when the two long scrolls slowly unfolded, citizens stopped to watch, took out their mobile phones, and turned on the continuous shooting mode. "Fantastic, Sanmenxia paper-cut is amazing, and I'm so proud to be a Sanmenxia native!" said resident Song Hongbing.

The person in charge of Sanmenxia Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Association said that the paper-cutting works of  Li Zhumei paper-cutting team shined in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics were widely publicized and reported by the mainstream media above the provincial level and aroused the widespread attention from all walks of life, which not only promoted the intangible cultural heritage paper-cut art, but also further improved the popularity and reputation of Sanmenxia on the Yellow River.
