The Consumer Goods Market of Sanmenxia in the First Two Months Achieved a Stable Start
From January to February, facing the challenges of the complex and severe international environment and the frequent occurrence of domestic epidemics, all departments at all levels in Sanmenxia conscientiously implemented the national, provincial and municipal decisions and deployments, scientifically coordinated epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development. The consumer goods market was generally stable. From January to February, the total retail sales in Sanmenxia reached 9.402 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.6%, 3.1 percentage points higher than the provincial average. Among them, enterprises (units) above designated size achieved a total of 1.795 billion yuan in retail sales, a year-on-year increase of 12.6%.
The rural consumer goods market was better than the urban one. From January to February, the urban units above the designated size achieved a total of 1.654 billion yuan in retail sales, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%; the rural units above the designated size achieved a total of 141 million yuan in retail sales, a year-on-year increase of 43.3%. The overall urban and rural markets have grown steadily, with the rural growth 32.7 percentage points faster than the urban growth, and the urban-rural structure has continued to be optimized.
Basic living goods grew steadily. From January to February, the retail sales of grain, oil and food commodities above designated size reached 219 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%; the retail sales of clothing, shoes and hats, and knitted textiles reached 30 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%; the retail sales of daily necessities reached 362 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.9%. The high growth rate of daily necessities was mainly due to the better development of online sales of some enterprises.
Wholesale, retail and catering industries saw higher growth in online sales. From January to February, the wholesale and retail enterprises above designated size achieved sales of 537 million yuan through public networks, a year-on-year increase of 41.0%, driving the sales of the wholesale and retail enterprises above designated size in Sanmenxia to increase by 3.0 percentage points; the accommodation and catering enterprises above designated size achieved meal fee income of 1.394 million yuan through the public networks, a year-on-year increase of 21.4%.
