Recently, the project of the municipal cultural relics protection center was successfully approved by Sanmenxia Municipal Development and Reform Commission. It is another vivid practice of implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter, which marks that Sanmenxia's archaeological research is striving to move forward.

Since the 100th Anniversary of the Discovery of the Yangshao Culture and the Beginning of Modern Archaeology in China., Sanmenxia has deeply studied the spirit of the congratulatory letter, and quickly organized and established a study group to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter, they clarify goals, consolidate responsibilities so as to boost high-quality development and promote the implementation of Xi’s spirit.

Strengthen team building and enhance archaeological research capabilities. We plan to set up an archaeological research fund, strengthen the training and selection of leading archaeological professionals, and actively plan to establish the Yangshao Culture International Research Center (Sanmenxia Cultural Relics and Archaeology Research Institute), which effectively strengthen the grass-roots cultural relics protection team and improve the transformation and social popularization of archaeological scientific research results so as to speed up the research on the origin of Chinese Civilization.

Consolidate the achievements of Yangshao conference and promote the protection and display project. Seven projects including the wisdom display "Flowering China·Holy Land Yangshao" in Miaodigou were successfully included in the Henan Provincial Key Award and Subsidy Project, which greatly promote the construction of key intelligent digital display project "Walking in Henan · Understanding China" in Sanmenxia. A number of fine cultural relics exhibitions such as "Golden Jade · Princes - The Life Exhibition of the Nobles of the Western Zhou Dynasty" were launched one after another, which made the influence of Yangshao cultural archaeological achievements continue to expand in foreign exchanges and cooperation.

Explore the cultural connotation and accelerate the integrated development of culture and tourism. We actively implement the strategy of integrating culture and tourism, culture and creativity, promote the implementation of the three-year doubling plan of the cultural and creative industry and the construction of "one belt, one corridor and six districts", so as to strengthen the deep connection between cultural elements and tourism and make every effort to build a landmark city of the Yellow River National Cultural Park. We also actively integrate into the brand of "Walking in Henan, Understanding China", and implement a number of characteristic cultural tourism routes with the combination of online and offline methods, which have achieved new breakthroughs in archaeological tourism. Yangshao Cultural Museum in Mianchi County, Guo State Museum, Sanmenxia Municipal Museum, etc. have successively launched exclusive cultural and creative products such as blind boxes and stamps on different cultural themes, which tell traditional cultural stories with trendy cultural creations, and promote the transformation of resource advantages into economic and social benefits.

 Sanmenxia will continue to be guided by the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter, enhance the sense of historical mission and responsibility, and take advantage of the 100th Anniversary of the Discovery of Yangshao Cultural and the Birth of Modern Archaeology held in Sanmenxia and the unique historical and cultural relics and archaeological resources in Sanmenxia. We strive for policy opportunities and activate the endogenous dynamics so as to comprehensively promote the archaeological research, protection management, display and utilization of important sites represented by Yangshao culture, we promote the integrated development of culture and tourism, culture and creativity, and built influential archaeological holy land at home and abroad, cultural and archaeological destination for study tour so as to strive to build Sanmenxia become an excellent city with "Chinese characteristics, Chinese style and Chinese style archeology", which demonstrate the  Chinese civilization and develop the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and let the flowers of Yangshao bloom in China and make fragrant overflow the world.
