The third Chinese Archaeology conference will be held in our city in October
On September 22, the Chinese Archaeological Society issued a notice that it planned to hold the third Chinese Archaeological Conference (2021 Sanmenxia) in our city from October 17 to 20, 2021.
This year coincides with the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Yangshao culture and the 100th anniversary of the birth of modern Chinese archaeology. As the naming place of Yangshao cultural discovery and the birthplace of Chinese modern archaeology, Sanmenxia will hold the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Yangshao cultural discovery and the birth of Chinese modern archaeology. The third Chinese Archaeology Conference (2021 · Sanmenxia) is one of the important contents.
The conference was jointly sponsored by the Chinese archaeological society, the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Henan Provincial Bureau of cultural relics and the Sanmenxia Municipal People's government, and jointly organized by the Henan Provincial Institute of cultural relics and archaeology, the Henan Provincial Institute of cultural relics and archaeology, and the Sanmenxia Municipal Bureau of culture, radio, television and tourism. *** It aims to improve the quality and level of Chinese archaeological research, accelerate the popularization and transformation of Chinese archaeological research results, expand archaeological exchanges between China and foreign countries, and tell Chinese stories from the perspective of archaeology.

The participants are divided into special representatives, online representatives, offline representatives, foreign representatives and representatives from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
It is worth mentioning that Henan, as a large province of cultural relics and archaeology, has hosted the Chinese Archaeological Conference for the second time. The first Chinese Archaeological conference was held in Zhengzhou in May 2016.
