"Good health often brings blessings to thousands of families, and a good reputation brings good fortune to life." On July 15th , the reporter discovered a number of couplets with rich meanings on the shop fronts and light poles on Kangyuan Street are particularly conspicuous , Sanmenxia City, numerous pairs of couplets are easy to understand and read. 

 Couplets Culture Street -Kangyuan Street is jointly built by Sanmenxia Couplets Association, Sanmenxia Municipal Calligraphy Association and the Wuyuan Road Community. Prior to this, Sanmenxia Couplets Association had successfully built a couplet street on socialist core values in the east lane of Sanmenxia Gymnasium, a street for spiritual civilization construction on Xiangqing Road and a couplet trail for the rule of law on Hedi South Road.

At present, there are more than 100 couplets hanging on Kangyuan Street, which are divided into two types: couplets for shop facades and couplets for street light poles. The couplets on 

the facade of shops are written by calligraphers organized by Sanmenxia Municipal Calligraphy Association , which were tailor-made for shopkeepers by members of Sanmenxia Couplet Association on the basis of fully understanding each of shopkeeper. There are more than 60 couplets hanging on the light poles on both sides of the street, which were selected by the national couplet enthusiasts network.

Fang Liuju, President of Sanmenxia Couplets Association, said that at present, together with the successfully built Couplets Cultural Streets, Kangyuan Couplets Culture Street has become a window for the external exchange of Sanmenxia's couplets culture, which let couplet culture enter the public and let more citizens be immersed in the traditional culture. All these will contribute a lot to the construction of Sanmenxia civilized city.
