According to Henan Daily, on May 30th, Jiang Ling, member of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial Party Committee and Department of Propaganda Department, went to Sanmenxia to investigate the protection and inheritance of Yangshao culture.

on the archaeological site of Beiyangping Ruins, Jingshan Huangdi Casting Tripod Site, Miaodigou Archaeological Site and other Yangshao Cultural Sites, and they learned in details about the investigation, exploration, protection and utilization of Yangshao Cultural Sites.

Jiang Ling pointed out that the archaeological protection and utilization of the Yangshao Cultural Site Group is not only of great academic significance and has cultural value for studying the origin of Chinese civilization, but also is conducive to providing strong support for inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enhancing national self-confidence. We should have a high sense of national responsibility and historical mission to protect, inherit and utilize these precious cultural heritages; We should do a solid job in the excavation and protection of ruins, continue to strengthen the protection of cultural relics, archaeological excavation and research at the Yangshao sites,  and do a good job in the restoration and display of archaeological achievements to fully demonstrate the cultural characteristics of Yangshao; It is necessary to integrate and connect the tourism resources along the Yellow River, archaeological ruins parks, cultural conservation units and other cultural resources, and build a number of cultural tourism iconic cultural facilities, we should tell  "Yellow River Story" well with Yellow River cultural brand as a carrier to protect, inherit and promote the Yellow River culture.
