On July 10th, the Urban-rural Integration Demonstration Zone (High-tech Zone) listened to and watched the province’s major project construction and “three batches” promotion meeting, and held the province’s concentrated start activity of the Yellow River Basin ecological protection and high-quality development projects. Hu Zhiquan, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the demonstration zone, attended and announced the commencement of key projects. Wu Gang, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee, delivered a speech. Jia Liyun, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony. Jing Shuanmin, Wang Yanchao, Lu Jinliang, Yu Chunxi, Jing Baisong and other leaders of the demonstration zone, as well as main responsible people from Anhui Dingheng Industrial Group Co., Ltd., Henan Zhongkejun New Technology Development Co., Ltd., departments directly under the demonstration zone, the town office, the chief service people of key projects (enterprises) of the units directly under the demonstration area and the staff of the construction units, participated in the centralized start activity. 

Wu Gang said in his speech that since the beginning of this year, following the work concept of “project is king” and the idea of “seeking projects is seeking the future, and grasping projects is grasping development”, the demonstration zone (high-tech zone ) has always taken the construction of key projects as a strong engine to promote high-quality economic and social development, planned carefully and made solid progress. A large number of key projects to make up for shortcomings, lay a solid foundation, store energy, and promote development have successively been implemented. Transformation, innovation and high-quality development have entered the fast lane, and the integration of industry and city has taken on a new look. The 32 projects started this time, with a total investment of 8.24 billion yuan, involve industrial upgrading, infrastructure, ecological environmental protection, social and people’s livelihood and other fields, which inject new impetus into the demonstration area to accelerate the construction of “economically strong area, cultural area, environment friendly area, and beautiful living area”. 

Wu Gang demanded that the demonstration area should take this concentrated start of construction as an opportunity to strengthen confidence and dynamism, seize the favorable opportunity for project construction in the third quarter, strengthen scheduling, reverse construction schedules, and go all out to promote project construction. All responsible units must firmly establish the one family mentality, enhance the service awareness, carry forward the “three-strength” style, carry out the “10,000 People Helping 10,000 Enterprises” activity rigorously, help enterprises to solve problems, exchange the addition of service for the multiplication of development, create favorable conditions for the smooth implementation of the project and the development and growth of the enterprise, and make new and greater contributions to “dressing up the old place of Xiaohan and building a strong new industrial city”.
