A New Park Will be Built in Sanmenxia

On July 10th, the reporter saw at the Mainstay Park Along the Yellow River, located about 1 km downstream of the Sanmenxia Dam, that the main construction of the amusement park has been basically completed, and it’s currently in the final stage, and the construction is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
According to the information, the Mainstay Park Along the Yellow River is an auxiliary project of the ecological corridor along the Yellow River in Sanmenxia, covering a total area of about 15 mu. It is a theme park integrating recreation, entertainment, parking, tourist services, and the Yellow River culture promotion. The construction content includes Kunpeng theme sculpture, parking lot, convenience store, amusement facilities, etc.
The reporter saw in the park that, at present, the hiking trails, towers, Kunpeng theme sculpture, sand pits, and amusement facilities have been installed, some trees have been basically planted, and public toilets and convenience stores have also been built. There were already some tourists coming here for sightseeing. According to the on-site construction personnel, as of now, the project has completed the pavement of 2,700 square meters of roads and squares and 2,000 square meters of parking lots, and the remaining works are expected to be completed by the end of this month.
According to the relevant person in charge of the project, the construction of the Mainstay Park Along the Yellow River is an important node for Sanmenxia to accelerate the construction of the ecological economic belt along the Yellow River, and it is also an important carrier for integrating the concept of ecological civilization of the Yellow River into the construction of the Sanmenxia Dam scenic spot.
