In recent days, the related organizations in charge of the 27th Sanmenxia Yellow River Cultural Tourism Festival and the 8th China Characteristic Commodity Fair has actively carried out comprehensive renovation of city appearance and environmental sanitation, comprehensively strengthened the management and control of Sanmenxia, and continued to improve its appearance and environmental quality, so as to actively create satisfied urban environment.

City appearance management. We carry out concentrated actions in an all-round way to strengthen the management of random parking, and continue to investigate and punish people who toss on both sides of the road, put articles in random piles, and scribble on the wall and so on. We repair damaged roads, maintain and clean drainage, well grate and other public facilities. Up to now, more than 300 households who occupied roads and had out-of-store operations have been rectified; over 10 dirty, messy, and poor places have been cleaned up, more than 600 small illegal advertisements have been cleaned up.Sanmenxia appearance and order management has achieved positive results.

Environmental sanitation and cleaning. We do a solid job of cleaning the surrounding areas of crowded places such as squares, shopping malls, stations, etc., we also clean garbage and debris on the road and corners, and continuously improve the cleanliness of the road. What’s more, we strengthen the sanitation management of public toilets to ensure that public toilets are clean and tidy.

Landscaping and beautification. We strengthen the maintenance and management of urban landscaping, manage exposed loess, plant 3010 trees and shrubs, and plant 29680 square meters of dahlias and Ophiopogon japonicus. We also do touring cleaning of parks and green areas to ensure that every post has people to be responsible for. What’s more, we prun the green seedlings, trim hedges and patterns about 35895 square meters, trim more than 1,500 ligustrum and crabapple trees. and place more than 30,000 pots of flowers at major intersections to actively create a festive atmosphere.

Illuminate the night of the city. We organize a comprehensive investigation of potential safety hazards for street lamps and other lighting facilities, and solve problems to ensure the normal operation of various lighting facilities. Up to now, more than 90 lighting facilities have been repaired and replaced, and 14 faults have been dealt with.
