On April 30th , the mobilization meeting of the 9th Sanmenxia City Games and the 4th Sunshine Games was held to summarize Sanmenxia's sports work last year, commend advanced units in national fitness work, and make specific arrangements for Sanmenxia's 9th City Games and the 4th Sunshine Games.Sanmenxia Vice Mayor Qing Zhiying attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

It is reported that the 9th City Games has 28 major events and about 500 minor events, which are divided into 4 groups according to the age. The opening ceremony of the 9th City Games will be held in late October this year.

Qing Zhiying pointed out that the 9th City Games is an important platform to demonstrate the city's economic and social development achievements; it’s not only an effective means to lead the construction of healthy Sanmenxia, but also a necessary measure to promote competitive sports to a higher level. We must work together to organize the 9th City Games with high standards so as to promote various important sports events held in our city. It is necessary to seize the opportunity to build a strong sports nation, and take the 9th City Games as an opportunity to accelerate the development of sports in Sanmenxia.
