On April 16th, China's first natural oxygen bar train “Sanmenxia” departed from Beijing and arrived in our city, which started an oxygen breathing journey for more than 500 tourists from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. The Deputy Secretary of Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee and Mayor An Wei went to Sanmenxia Railway Station to greet and present the flag to the tourist group. Sun Jian, President of China Meteorological Service Association, Zhu Xiangrui, Executive Vice President, Lin Yong, Deputy Director of Henan Meteorological Bureau, Yang Bin, Member of Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of Yichun , Heilongjiang Province, Qing Zhiying ,Vice Mayor of Sanmenxia Municipal Government and Gao Yongrui, Sanmenxia Municipal Party Group Member and Secretary-General Guo Zhongyi participated in the event.

In recent years, Sanmenxia has adhered to the creation of "China's Natural Oxygen Bar City" as a starting point, deeply practiced Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, firmly established the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", all the work adhered to the principal of ecological priority and green development, and tried every means to pursue ecological sound development. At present, Sanmenxia's ecological environment has achieved "two increases and two improvements", that is, the increase of wetlands and birds, the improvement of water quality, forest coverage, and the content of negative oxygen ions. Sanmenxia's forest coverage rate ranks first in Henan and the highest in the north. The number of days with good air accounts for more than 70% in the whole year. In many places of Sanmenxia, there are more than 4,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter. It is a veritable natural oxygen bar city.

At present, 6 counties (cities, districts) under the jurisdiction of Sanmenxia have successfully created 5 "Chinese Natural Oxygen Bars", accounting for 99% of the city's land area. This year, Sanmenxia is expected to become the first natural oxygen bar city in the Yellow River Basin. In order to creat"China's Natural Oxygen Bar City", promote the cultural tourism in Sanmenxia, and further develop the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei tourism market, Sanmenxia Municipal Government, China Meteorological Service Association and China Travel Service Association Railway Tourism Branch jointly launched China's first natural oxygen bar train “Sanmenxia” .

Gao Yongrui pointed out that the opening of the special train will better demonstrate the achievements of building oxygen bar city, expand the brand image of "Yellow River Sanmenxia·Beautiful Swan City", and promote Sanmenxia tourism onto the "fast lane". In the next step, Sanmenxia will continue to consolidate and improve the results of ecological construction, and strive to build the four major urban ecological brands of "Big Forest", "Big Oxygen Bar", "Big Orchard" and "Big Garden" with the regional characteristics of Sanmenxia, and endeavour to build Sanmenxia into the ecological model in the Yellow River Basin and the Yellow River Golden Triangle green integration demonstration area, and finally make Sanmenxia become a new natural oxygen bar city and tourist destination that the world yearns for and tourists linger on. Let the advantages of ecological resources empower Sanmenxia rural revitalization and high-quality economic and social development. At the same time, Sanmenxia will strengthen cooperation with the railway, tourism, meteorological and other departments, continue to dig deeper into the brand value of "China's natural oxygen bar", and create  "oxygen bar + railway" a new model of Sanmenxia eco-tourism.

During their stay in Sanmenxia, the tourist group visited Swan Lake National Urban Wetland Park, Baolun Temple Tower, Hangu Pass, Shanzhou Silo-cave, Sanmenxia Dam, Guo State Museum and other characteristic attractions.
