On September 9th , the municipal committee of CPPCC held a special consultation meeting on the protection and utilization of the Yellow River cultural heritage. Dong Shuliang, vice chairman of the municipal committee of CPPCC, presided over the meeting, and Liu Huilin, a member of the municipal government party group, attended the meeting. 

At the meeting, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting and Tourism notified the protection and utilization of the Yellow River cultural heritage. The members of the Standing Committee and members of the municipal committee of CPPCC actively participated in the consultations and offered suggestions around the theme, and the heads of relevant departments made speeches. 

The meeting pointed out that it is necessary to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Yellow River Basin Ecological Protection and High-quality Development Symposium, tell the story of the Yellow River well, sustain historical legacy, strengthen cultural confidence, and earnestly protect, excavate, inherit and carry forward the cultural heritage of the Yellow River in Sanmenxia. It is necessary to correctly handle the relationship between protection and utilization, adjust measures to local conditions, vigorously promote the deep integration of culture and tourism, and promote the overall development of economy, culture and society.
