In early winter of 2021, Sanmenxia accelerated its transformation, innovation and development and achieved fruitful results, which played a strong tone of win-win cooperation between central enterprises and Sanmenxia.

An activity with the keyword of "Sanmenxia" kicked off brightly. On November 11th , 13 central enterprises and Sanmenxia City signed 42 cooperation projects, with a total investment of 81.5 billion yuan and a financing of more than 50 billion yuan. The number of projects and total investments are the highest over the past years. With careful planning and fine arrangement, this activity has explored a new way and provided a new model for Henan province to deepen central local cooperation.

This activity is a pragmatic move to open up, which systematically plan the industrial development direction and accurately share development opportunities with 30-year forward-looking strategic thinking; This activity is a vivid practice of implementing the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and taking project construction as the main focus of economic work; This activity is also a effective measure to adhere to the new development concept, respond to the challenges of epidemic, cultivate new opportunities in the crisis and open a new situation in the changing situation.

In order to win more good and larger projects in Sanmenxia as soon as possible, Liu Nanchang, Secretary of Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee, has led a team to visit the headquarters of central enterprises for many times, leading relevant departments and heads to plan, contact and negotiate one after another. Since October 11th , Sanmenxia has promoted high quality contract with 13 central enterprises in new materials, green energy, digital economy, high-end equipment manufacturing, etc. There are still a number of projects that have not completed the internal process of the enterprise and are being followed up.

Excellent economic development conditions will bring more economic benefits. The anticipation of huge opportunities for investment in Sanmenxia is obviously an important motivation to attract these central enterprises.

"Great projects!" the relevant person in charge of China Huaneng Group said that the cooperation projects between Huaneng and Sanmenxia are strategic emerging industries and meet the requirements of high-quality development and future direction.

"Taking root in Sanmenxia for more than 60 years, we will spare no efforts to help Sanmenxia play an important leading and exemplary role in ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin," said the person in charge of the 11th Bureau of hydropower construction of China.

The cooperation project is of great value: because the signing ceremony has high specifications. All the main principals of 15 central enterprises, financial institutions and scientific research institutes came to the scene to attend the event and reach cooperation intention. Fei Dongbin, member of Henan Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and vice governor of Henan Provincial Party Committee, presided over the ceremony, and the main leaders of relevant departments attended the event; The contracted projects are of high quality with the characteristics of innovation driven, green and low-carbon, digital transformation, high-quality development of manufacturing industry and cultivation of strategic emerging industries, so as to provide important drive for industrial development, urban construction and digital transformation, and all the work has been done to strive to seize the commanding heights of future development; The approval standard for contract signing is high, and the SASAC of the State Council attaches great importance to this activity and strongly supports it. From the beginning to the implementation of these projects, all aspects are strictly checked , supervised and assessed at all levels, and all cooperation projects have been studied by the enterprise's board of directors or the Party group meeting of the Party Committee.

Sanmenxia has signed cooperation agreements with 13 central enterprises, namely China Huaneng Group, China Sinochem Group, China Minmetals Group, China State Development and Investment group, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, China Building Materials Group, Youyan Technology Group, China CRRC Corp., China Railway Communication Signal Corp., China Power Construction Group, China Gold Group, Huaxia Bank Institute of microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Chip Times Corp., etc. 42 cooperation projects have been signed, including 4 innovation driven improvement projects, 2 new infrastructure construction projects, 22 industrial structure upgrading projects, 7 major infrastructure projects, 4 ecological and environmental protection projects, 2 new urbanization projects and 1 financial service project.

The cooperation between central enterprises and Sanmenxia has a good tradition of working together for mutual development for a long time. The signed project conforms to the orientation and direction of Sanmenxia industrial development, which will significantly improve the development of key industries, provide strong support for condensing new energy, and lay a solid foundation for the 14th Five Year Plan and future development.

In the past five years, 65 central enterprises have successively landed in Sanmenxia with an investment of 89.53 billion yuan. Together with this signed project, the total investment of central enterprises in Sanmenxia will exceed 200 billion yuan. Sanmenxia plans to implement the project construction,  which runs with an amazing "acceleration".
