On August 17th, the 10th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Henan Sanmenxia Division and the 3rd Sanmenxia Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition kicked off in the Urban and Rural Integration Demonstration Area (High-tech Area).

In recent years, under the correct leadership of Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, the Demonstration Area (High-tech Area) has thoroughly implemented the innovation-driven development strategy and new development concepts, focused on the cultivation of innovation subjects, the construction of innovation platforms and the optimization of the innovation environment, and vigorously gathered high-end innovation resources, stimulated the vitality of enterprise innovation, and catalyzed new development momentum through innovation. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is of high level, large scale and wide influence. It is an important measure to implement the innovation-driven development strategy and new development concepts. The Demonstration Area (High-tech Area) has successfully held the Sanmenxia Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for two consecutive years, with 208 projects participating. Among them, 26 projects entered Henan provincial competitions and 8 projects entered the national competitions. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has become a brand of scientific and technological innovation of Sanmenxia. 

According to reports, in order to implement the requirements for epidemic prevention and control and ensure that the competition should be held smoothly under the premise of scientific prevention and control, the competition was held in the form of online livestreaming for the first time after multiple studies and repeated deliberations of the organizing committee. In addition, based on the continuation of the previous competition system, the competition has added team group competitions to provide more innovative entrepreneurs with a platform to show their talent. This competition lasted for 4 days, 24 projects entered the finals, and 18 winning projects were eventually produced.
