On the morning of June 19th, Sanmenxia International Cultural Expo City  Exhibition Center was crowded with lots of people, including people from the Chinese Popular Literature Research Association's Bangshu Art Committee, over 100 calligraphers and painters from all over the country, and the majority of calligraphy and painting art lovers in Sanmenxia. They witnessed the opening of 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and the Invitational Exhibition of Bangshu, and joined in Exhibitions on special subjects and on-site meetings.

The reporter saw at the exhibition that the calligraphy works that praised the party and the motherland, such as "No Communist Party, No New China", "Chinese Soul", "Party Grace Like the Sea" are particularly eye-catching. The people who visited the exhibition praised and admired the works from time to time.

Ms. Qu, a citizen who came to the exhibition with her daughter, said: “The child is 7 years old this year and he particularly likes to paint. It happens to take advantage of this chance to broaden his horizon and cultivate his interest in this area.” A lot of Parents like Ms. Qu brought their children to watch the exhibition so that they can feel the artistic atmosphere of calligraphy and painting.

"This piece of works is excellent and magnificent!" 75-year-old Li Chenglin and 84-year-old Zheng Junjie are calligraphy lovers. The two elderly people exchanged opinions and discussed calligraphy writing skills in front of a work. Li Chenglin said: "Holding such a high-standard exhibition in Sanmenxia is really a cultural feast for the local people in Sanmenxia. Through these works, we have seen the Communist Party's centuries of struggle and the unity and progress of the nation, and we should cherish today's happy life even more."

Wang Yanlong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Sanmenxia Calligraphy Association, said: "This exhibition invites famous artists from all over the country to our doorsteps. It is a blessing for Sanmenxia calligraphy and painting lovers. We must actively learn the essence of famous artists and strive to create better works of art. ."

Miao Xiaolong, Chairman of Bangshu Art Committee of the Chinese Popular Literature Research Association, said: “Holding this exhibition in the beautiful Sanmenxia has vigorously publisized the glorious history and struggling history of the Chinese Communist Party, which also inspired us to love our Party and our motherland more.” Yang Guang, vice Chairman of the Art Committee of the Chinese Popular Literature Research Association, said: "During the exhibition, many people visited the site, which pleasantly surprised me. It showed the people's pursuit of art in Sanmenxia. We will create more down-to-earth works loved by the people in the future ."

It is understood that the theme of this exhibition is entitled as "Heavy color and thick ink painting a hundred years of China and eulogizing the Party". The exhibition is divided into two sections: the invitation exhibition of Bangshu and the national "100 famous paintings" exhibition of calligraphy and painting works. There are more than 200 works in total. It displays the glorious history of the Communist Party of China in all aspects and from multiple angles, which eulogizes the great Communist Party of China and promotes the excellent traditional Chinese culture with rich calligraphy and painting art forms , and all the efforts are made to present gifts to the Party for a century.

According to the staff of Sanmenxia Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the exhibition will last for 20 days and will be open to the public free of charge.
