Recently, Sanmenxia municipal government announced the sixth batch of representative projects of Sanmenxia’s intangible cultural heritage, totaling 20 items in 5 categories.

Among them, the handicraft monkey puppet show was selected in the traditional drama category; Shaolin Boxing and Weapons (Mace, Qin's Liuhe Double Mace, Shaozi Cudgel) and Jiuzimen were selected in the traditional sports, entertainment and acrobatics category; Root Art was selected into the traditional art category; Shangguan Zhenfeng Surgical elixirs, Cui's black and white plasters, Ren's bone therapy, and Huang Shichuan plasters were selected as traditional medicine. The most selected items are in the traditional skills category, which are 12 items, namely, Kang's nourishing noodles, traditional craftsmanship of moxa, Renji water flower bergamot, golden stone stele inscriptions and extension techniques, ancient black wine brewing techniques, and soy sauce Ancient craftsmanship, Lingbao Chinese Hamburgers, Lingbao hollow noodles, Yangshao paper-cutting, Yangshao wine brewing craftsmanship, Shaanzhou woodblock New Year picture making craftsmanship, Shaanzhou Shihao kiln porcelain firing craftsmanship.

Sanmenxia municipal government requires that all counties (cities, districts) and relevant departments of the municipal government shall, in accordance with the Intangible Cultural Heritage Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Henan Province, conscientiously implement "protection first, rescue first, rational use, inheritance and development" work policy, adhere to scientific protection concepts, formulate plans, and do a solid job in the protection, inheritance, management and utilization of representative projects of intangible cultural heritage, in order to promote the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation and make positive contributions to the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.

At the meeting, the exhibition group, ceremony group and propaganda group made a comprehensive review of the festival, summing up experience, analyzing problems, and making suggestions.
