Walk into the Embassy of Ukraine in China to Carry Out "Belt and Road" Cooperation
A few days ago, several guests from the China-Ukraine (Sanmenxia) Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute introduced the overall situation of the Sanmenxia Economic Development Zone, and briefly talked about the course and achievements of the cooperation between the institute and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with the Embassy’s Minister Counselor Reshenska Zana Valeryevna and the Principal Secretary of Commercial Service Office Artem Rozhdevski in the Ukrainian Embassy in Beijing.
This is an exchange visit conducted by the China-Ukraine (Sanmenxia) Institute of Science and Technology Innovation and relevant Ukrainians in Beijing. They concluded the work in 2020 and made a plan for 2021. Since the establishment of the China-Ukraine (Sanmenxia) Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute in 2019, the scientific and technological cooperation between Sanmenxia City and Ukraine has entered a new stage. For more than one year, the two sides have been promoting international cooperation and introducing Ukraine’s artificial intelligence, equipment manufacturing, and new progress in advanced technologies in materials processing and other fields has been progressing smoothly.
Valeryevna and other Ukrainians expressed their recognition of the Sino- Ukraine cooperation projects in Sanmenxia City, and hoped that both sides will continue to promote bilateral cooperation based on the principles of resource sharing and mutual benefit to jointly respond to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. During the exchange, when we mentioned that the Yellow River Basin Economic and Technological Development Zone Ecological Protection and High-Quality Development Alliance will soon be established, and that the alliance secretariat will be established in the Sanmenxia Economic Development Zone, Valeryevna and others suggested that the Sanmenxia Economic Development Zone should grasp and take advantage of this important opportunity and strive to demonstrate new achievements. At the same time, they hoped that both sides would work together to implement the cooperation between China and Ukraine so as to jointly build the “Belt and Road” with high quality.
During the exchange, representatives of the China-Ukraine (Sanmenxia) Institute of Science and Technology and Innovation also held discussions with Guo Rui, an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Aleksendoro Strmacher, a Ukrainian professor at Beijing Institute of Technology , and the relevant persons in charge of the Nordic Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base in China. In-depth exchanges were conducted on the system and mechanism reform of the Sanmenxia Economic Development Zone, the focus of China-Ukraine cooperation in 2021, the policy of recruiting talents in Sanmenxia, and the industrial development direction of the Economic Development Zone.
