Since this year, the 5G development of Sanmenxia has pressed the “fast forward button”. 5g application scenarios are springing up, enabling the industry development to burst with new vitality.

In terms of 5G+ smart industry, the 5G+ smart factory project of Kaixiang Chemical used 5G technology to build a smart security inspection platform, and realized smart security, smart environmental protection, smart emergency response, energy efficiency management, smart logistics, mobile office and other system deployment and control, which provided safe and reliable information system with stable operation and flexible configuration and services for the enterprise. The 5G+ smart factory project of Shentong Carbon built a 5G smart could factory integrating intelligent production, scheduling, environmental protection and safety supervision together, which can save more than 3 million yuan in costs each year now.

In terms of 5G+ smart agriculture and tourism, focusing on building a high-quality and full-coverage 5G application network, the 5G smart apple town project in Sihe Mountain of Lingbao has built the 5G experience exhibition hall,   autonomous driving experience section, observatory to appreciate the sunrise in VR and 5G smart orchard and other innovative content to achieve the integration of the apple planting industry, tourism, and autonomous driving. The 5G+ Swan Lake Scenic Area smart tourism project can allow the tourists to experience the four seasons of the Swan Lake personally by watching the recorded videos of other seasons through the smart large screen, VR head-mounted display, VR observatory, mobile phones and other broadcasting terminals.

In terms of 5G+ smart city construction, the new smart city “multiple applications” of Sanmenxia have been expanded to over 40, which have played an important role in governance, people’s livelihood services, industry cultivation, especially epidemic prevention and control. Sanmenxia has already been listed as the pilot new smart city in Henan and the national demonstration practice area of smart city selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which is one of the 12 cities in the whole country and the only one in Henan.

The construction of these projects and development of these application scenarios have played an obvious demonstration and leading role, and will lead the development of 5G industry and scenario applications in various industries in Sanmenxia in the future.
