On August 21st, the unveiling ceremony of the production safety publicity, education and training base was held as well as the lecture on learning General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important talk on production safety in Sanmenxia Gold Industry School, which was identified as Sanmenxia’s municipal production safety publicity, education and training base. All the members of the Municipal Security Committee, the municipal Emergency Management Bureau and those in all counties (cities, districts) participated in the activity as well as those in charge in the non-coal mines, hazardous chemicals and industrial and trade enterprises.

Mr. Liu Xiangdong, Party secretary, director of the city emergency management Bureau said in his speech that sanmenxia Gold Industry School has rich experience in production safety education and training, that the establishment of Sanmenxia production safety publicity, education and training base has a milestone significance in our city’s safe production, and that through the safety publicity, education and training, people would grasp the relevant policies, laws and regulations of the safe production and the skills of safe operation so as to improve their safe production and management.

On studying General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statement on production safety, Mr. Liu Xiangdong said that first, it is necessary to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statement on production safety and to do a solid job in various parts of the safe production in terms of the reality of Sanmexia’s  production safety from the political height of firmly setting "the four consciousnesses", firmly enhancing "the four self-confidence" and resolutely achieving “the two safeguards”and with the political consciousness of adhering to the original heart to bear the mission; that second, it is necessary to fully implement the primary responsibility for the production safety of enterprises, firmly establish the awareness and thinking of safe production, strengthen the investigation and treatment of hidden dangers, and pay close attention to the management of key links; and that third, safety training should be strengthened to improve prevention and control capacity. Sanmenxia’s municipal production safety publicity, education and training base should give full play to its role, earnestly fulfill the function of publicity, education and training so as to lay a solid foundation for speeding up the establishment of long-term safe production mechanism.

After the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhou Bin, former inspector of the State Administration of Safety supervision and member of the Technical Committee, gave a lecture on the study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on production safety.
