Recently, the responsible persons of Fa Power (Sanmenxia) heating company and Sanmenxia Huayang Power Generation Co. Ltd. have discussed and exchanged in detail the operation mode of units in this year’s heating season, how to provide heat supply guarantee in extremely cold weather and emergency repair of heating.

During the heating season from 2020 to 2021, the total heating area of the company is 3.5 million square meters, of which the Vocational Education Park provides 100,000 square meters of boiler room heating. More than 90 heating exchange stations, 152 units and 1 boiler room have been put into operation. On September 21, water injection was carried out on the heating exchange units in the franchise area of the Fa Power company; on November 5, the heating operation of the main network was planned to start and carried out in advance.

The terrain drop of Sanmenxia is relatively large. When encountering extreme weather, the huge elevation difference will make the pipeline at the lowest point appear overpressure, causing pressure imbalance. At the meeting, the responsible persons and the engineer team of both sides actively coordinated the deployment, formed an emergency plan in advance and timely started the spare peak heating power according to 72 hour weather forecast. In order to ensure the normal heat exchange of the units at the end of the heating pipeline, the Fa Power company installed a booster station at the terminal unit of pipe network to increase the pressure of the end heating pipe network. A series of technical upgrading have been made to solve the adverse circuit, balance the pressure and improve the indoor heating temperature of residents. For the old residential areas with aging heating pipe network and poor wall insulation effect, the company actively carried out equipment maintenance and repair in non-heating season and tailor-made technical transformation plan for the communities with potential pressure danger to ensure the indoor temperature of residents and guarantee them to spend the cold winter comfortably.

After the meeting, Zhao Wei, the general manager of the company, and Li Weijia, a deputy general manager of operation, went to the first heating station to check the layout of the pipe network, and compared the flow chart of the heating system with it on site. It is known that the company began to prepare for the next heating season after the end of the last one. In the non-heating season, the technical department has carried out field surveys for many times, providing technical support on site, guiding equipment installation, strictly controlling construction quality, and striving to submit a satisfactory answer for Sanmenxia residents in 2020-2021.
