In order to further promote the development of high quality instrument industry, speed up the construction of "one institute and three centers" (measuring instrument industry technology research institute, precision machining center, metrology testing center, metal surface treatment process research and development center), and precisely analyze and judge the current situation and problems of measuring instrument industry, the city's measuring instrument industry innovation and development of science and technology forum was held in the urban and rural integration demonstration zone (the high-tech zone) on June 2. More than 40 people, including leaders of relevant units and representatives of some measuring instrument enterprises, attended the forum.

In the forum,  the related departments' directors of the demonstration zone(the high-tech zone) introduced the construction of "one institution and three centers". The representatives of measuring instrument enterprises put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions on how to better boost the city's measuring instrument industry development based on the actual industry development and the current situation. Meanwhile, the promoting role of the demonstration zone (the high-tech zone) was affirmed in terms of developing the supporting industries in the development of measuring instrument industry, introducting scientific and technological talents, making the support policy, setting up the scientific and technological innovation platform, improving the brand marketing ability,etc.

This forum provides an important reference for further in-depth analysis of the development situation of the measuring instrument industry in our city and the determination of the development direction of the measuring instrument industry. Next, the government of the demonstration zone (the high-tech zone) will continue to improve the innovation ability of the measuring instrument industry as the core, enhance the research service ability of the measuring instrument industry as the key point, consider the needs and demands of the enterprises, increase the high-level talents' introduction of intensity, and accelerate the construction of "one institution and three centers" and the scientific and innovative platform, such as Xi'an Jiaotong University's achievements transformation base. Thus, the measuring instrument industry in our city will develop fast in pace and in quality.
