Since 2020, the financial system of Sanmenxia has been focusing on epidemic prevention and control as well as financial development. The financial operation has maintained a good momentum, and the balance of various deposits and loans has steadily increased, providing epidemic prevention and control as well as economic and social development with strong financial support.

Credit availability has increased rapidly. According to preliminary statistics, by the end of June 2020, the balance of deposits in local and foreign currencies of financial institutions was 148.961 billion yuan, increasing 12.286 billion yuan ( 8.99% ) compared with the beginning of the year, and increasing 10.692 billion yuan (7.73%) compared with the same period last year. The loans of all the financial institutions amounted to 93.096 billion yuan, increasing 9.077 billion yuan ( 10.80%) compared with the beginning of the year, and increasing 12.718 billion yuan (15.82% ) compared with the same period of last year.

Accurate coordination among government, Banks and enterprises has boosted enterprise development. The financial system has provided enterprises with a total of 255 million yuan of loans in key industries in terms of epidemic prevention and control. Meanwhile it has provided 11 key enterprises with 56.7 million yuan of special loan for epidemic prevention and control. The "Corporate Financial Service Host Bank System" was implemented in the city. The host Banks granted loans of 6.495 billion yuan to 686 enterprises, among which 356 enterprises obtained the first bank loan support of 2.066 billion yuan. A total of 81 projects between local banks and enterprises have been signed and loans of 5.18 billion yuan have been granted. A total of 537 key projects and financing needs of key enterprises were released, and 13.531 billion yuan of loans were granted. The municipal Financial Service Center received registration applications of 1,430 enterprises, 26 online financial institutions and 154 financial products. 234 projects between local banks and enterprises has been completed and 1.93 billion yuan of loans have been granted.

Local government has been promoting poverty alleviation and helping fight poverty. This year, 3,419 households in Sanmenxia have increased the amount of loans for poverty alleviation by 136 million yuan, with an increasing loan rate of 4.77%, ranking first in Henan Province. A total of 33 loans (119 million yuan) were provided to targeted poverty alleviation enterprises, directly increasing the income of 1,192 developing industries.
