According to customs statistics, the total import and export value of Sanmenxia 's foreign trade in the first half of the year was 7.24 billion yuan, with an annual growth of 11.9%, ranking the second in Henan Province. The value of imported goods was 6.04 billion yuan, increasing by 15.5%. The export value was 1.2 billion yuan.

In the first half of this year, the export value of food and agricultural products was 910 million yuan, accounting for 75.9% of the export value. The main products were canned edible mushroom, delicious mushroom, concentrated fruit juice, dried mushroom, fresh apple, dried fungus, walnut kernel and so on.

There are highlights in expanding the export market. Sanmenxia Customs House actively helped enterprises expand foreign export market, successively realized the export of Bacillus subtilis and new energy vehicles. In addition, Sanmenxia Customs House also fully took its advantages in technical information, assisting the export of epidemic prevention materials, and contributing to the transformation and upgrading of enterprises. In the first half of this year, the export market was dominated by "One Belt and One Road" countries and regions. Among them, the value of exports to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam and other markets exceeded 100 million yuan, while the value of exports to the United States, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Bangladesh and other markets were all over 40 million yuan. Among them, "One Belt And One Road" countries and regions accounted for 46.9%. The imported commodities are mainly from Latin America, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Australia, Canada, Spain, Russia, Mongolia, Zambia, Philippines and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The value of the imports exceeds 100 million Yuan, with Latin America accounting for 58%.
