First Batch of China’s New Energy Vehicles were Exported to Germany
At 6:00 p.m of May 21, with the long sound of the freighter’s whistle, 200 new energy vehicles produced by Sanmenxia Suda Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. departed from the Tianjin Port and shipped to Dusseldorf, Germany. This was the first batch of China’s new energy vehicles exported to Germany.
“Affected by the COVID-19, the orders originally planned for export in March were delayed and postponed. Sanmenxia Customs took the initiative to provide door-to-door services, tailored customs clearance plans for us, and resolved difficulties in a timely manner. We felt the care and warmth from customs”. A staff member of Suda Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd., Sun Sijia said that with the full support of all parties, the company has effectively resumed work and production to minimize the impact of the COVID-19. At present, the company is stepping up production and continuing to expand exports, striving to complete its plan to export 12,000 vehicles to Germany this year.
Seeing the new energy vehicles successfully mounted on the Hoegh Kobe freighter, Zhang Xifu, deputy general manager of Suda Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd., was excitedly taking pictures next to the freighter. It is understood that the company has signed overseas orders for 30,000 vehicles this year, of which 12,000 are exported to Germany. A departure ceremony was held for this batch of new energy vehicles in Sanmenxia on April 20. After customs clearance procedures were handled by Sanmenxia Customs under Zhengzhou Customs, the shipment was completed at Tianjin Port. Suda Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. is the 11th new energy vehicle company in the country and the first new energy vehicle company in Henan Province to obtain the “dual certification” of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It has played an active role in the realization of a new round of “curve overtaking” in the automotive industry in Henan Province.
Customs followed up the whole process and provided personal services. Through the coordination between the Port Supervision Office of Zhengzhou Customs and the Port Supervision Office of Tianjin Customs, Sanmenxia Customs actively communicated and followed up with the whole process of shipping schedule booking, trans-shipment supervision, joint inspection, and terminal loading supervision, creating the functional linkage between Zhengzhou Customs and Tianjin Customs, Sanmenxia Customs and Tianjin Xingang Customs, grassroots follow-up, efficient services, export promotion, and the new model of dual-linked supervision between the customs of Sanmenxia and Xingang. Fulfilling the requirements of “do everything possible to stabilize foreign trade and spare no effort to guard the country”, a good report was submitted to the enterprises, local governments and customs.
