The Municipal Disease Control Center Issued an Important Reminder to Prevent and Control the COVID-19
On October 26th, the reporter learned from the Municipal Disease Control Center that, on that day, the center issued an important reminder to prevent and control the COVID-19.
“According to the latest report of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Health Commission, as of 24:00 on October 25th, Xinjiang (including the Corps) recorded 0 confirmed cases and 138 asymptomatic patients, all of which were in Shufu County, Kashgar Prefecture.” the related official in the Municipal Disease Control Center introduced, “as of 24:00 on October 25th, four towns in Shufu County, Kashgar Prefecture will be classified as high-risk areas, and other towns in Shufu County, Kashgar Prefecture and Loushanhou Community of Qingdao will be classified as medium-risk areas.”
Based on the requirements of control and prevention of the COVID-19, the Municipal Disease Control Center reminds the public that, firstly, the coronavirus can live longer with the weather becoming cold, besides, the experts have proved that the coronavirus can stick to the surface of the objects and transmit from person to person. Secondly, the asymptomatic patients are infectious and concealed, which are hard to find with the present common inspection method, temperature check. Although Kashgar is scarcely populated and has few migrant people, there is still a certain scale of outbreak. So wherever we are, we should remain on high alert.
“We have worked together to control and prevent the epidemic before so that Sanmenxia could be a low-risk area for a long time. However, some residents relax their vigilance now.” the related official in the Municipal Disease Control Center reminded, “According to the observation, only a few people wear the mask in the crowded places like shopping malls and public transport. We can not lower our guard in the control and prevention of the epidemic and persist in washing our hands frequently and wearing masks. In addition, we’d better not go to the high-risk and medium-risk areas, take care of our own prevention and control, and be responsible for our own safety and the safety of others.”
