The construction of key cultural and tourism projects was promoted. Three projects including Laozi Cultural Health Park, Mount Guanyun Scenic Spot in Lushi County, Yangshao Village Archaeological Site Park and Yangshao Cultural Industrial Park were listed as key construction projects in Henan Province in 2020. On the basis of creating a successful provincial-level tourist resort, the construction of the Swan Lake national tourist resort was promoted continuously.

The intelligence level of the city’s cultural and tourism industry was improved. Cultural and tourism departments were guided to do a good job in the integration of cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, block chain and the cultural and tourism industry, and to establish online work systems such as “digital museum” and “cloud exploration of Guo State Museum”. The ticketing system, online marketing system, data analysis system, and security command platform system of 19 A-level scenic spots in the city was improved. The intelligent transformation of the city's 4A-level scenic spots was sped up. 9 4A-level scenic spots have realized the effective docking of provincial and municipal smart cultural tourism platforms.

The diversification of cultural tourism development was promoted. Integrate tourism resources are integrated. Research tourism products for the Yellow River Tour were developed and our city's first research and tourism manual was compiled and printed. Our city's research products and routes were launched to lay the foundation for the next step in the development and publicity of research tourism products. Guo State Museum was recommended to be a special social practice education base for primary and secondary schools in Henan Province.
