At 17:46 on June 30th, the Sanmenxia Reservoir increased its discharge, gradually opening 4 bottom holes and 2 tunnels to free up the capacity above the flood control level to deal with the flood from the upper reaches of the Yellow River.

To ensure the smooth opening of the discharge holes and tunnels, the flood control staff inspected the flood control facilities in advance to ensure that all facilities were in good condition and the adjustable rate reached 100%, providing safety guarantee for the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.
