On August 17, the commendation meeting for the third “Chinese Doctors’ Day” was held in Sanmenxia to commend the excellent model doctors, carry forward the anti-epidemic spirit and comprehensively promote the construction of the healthy Sanmenxia. Deputy Mayor Qing Zhiying attended the meeting and delivered a speech.  

Ms. Qing zhiying extended festive greetings to the city's medical workers. She pointed out that we should carry forward the spirit of fighting against the epidemic and cautiously make good epidemic prevention and control measures under the normal situation. more care should be given to the medical workers in order to ensure their remuneration and provide them with a good working environment. More efforts are needed to make correct guidance and extensive publicity to set up excellent models in order to create a good atmosphere of respecting medical workers and emphasizing the public health project in the whole society. More work should be done to speed up the construction of the health system in order to further improve the quality of medical care and comprehensively advance the health project in Sanmenxia.

At the meeting, the head of the Municipal Health Committee read out the commendation decisions. The participating leaders gave awards respectively to the most outstanding doctors, the most outstanding doctors aiding in Hubei Province, the most outstanding doctors aiding in Xinjiang Autonomous Region, the most outstanding doctors aiding in foreign countries and many good doctors.
