On August 14th, at the Swan Lake National Urban Wetland Park PCRTB and the Sanmenxia Yellow River ecological corridor (which is the model urban-rural integration area of Sanmenxia city) and Houdi Village PCRTB were respectively held the unveiling ceremonies of the first model PCRTBs and afterwards all the people attending the ceremonies were arranged to visit the photography sites.

Building of China Photography Cultural City is an important move by Sanmenxia city to carry forward the Yellow River culture and accelerate the high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin. It is also an effective way for our city to realize transformation and creation development, make a central city among Henan province and other provinces around it, and promote industrial transformation and upgrading for the purpose of attracting more people here, promoting investment, and building up her strength. Building of China Photography Cultural City has been included in the “Top Ten Projects” of the ideological work publicity. Since the initiation of the construction of the first 10 PCRTBs and the 34 photography sites, all the relevant work units have been carrying on the work smoothly according to their own actual condition.

All the people attending the ceremonies witnessed the unveiling of the two bases together and then visited the following 8 photography sites – the Swan Lake on the Green-dragon Jian River, the herons and mergansers viewing point on the Pale-dragon Jian River, Xiawu Pavilion in the Swan Lake National Urban Wetland Park Base, the Yellow River Park, the ancient Date Orchard from the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, the Sanmenxia ecological corridor of the Yellow River, the ferry of the old city, and the Yellow River tidal-flat area.

At the ceremonies, some persons in charge gave a general introduction to those scenic spots, the construction of the bases and some specific measures they have already taken.

The unveiling of the first model PCRTBs symbolizes the first appearance of the bases and in the coming future 30 photography bases and 100 photography sites will be constructed.

During the visit, all the people communicated with and learned from each other; they all expressed that they have benefited a lot from this visit and that they would deeply dig the potential and resources of the photography culture everywhere in order to push forward the construction of the photography bases in our city and to further contribute more to the building of China Photography Cultural City.
